TERMS

  • Argument - a process for reaching agreements about explanations or solutions

  • Claim - an answer to a scientific question

  • Evaluate - to determine the significance of by careful study

  • Evidence - anything presented to support a claim

  • Reasoning - the action of thinking about something in a logical way

  • Solution - a means of solving a problem

  • Strengths - validity and reliability of evidence

  • Weaknesses - lacks evidence or logical coherence
